What the Ratings Mean
Editorial Independence
TipRadar earns revenue through affiliate partnerships when users click through to bookmaker sites. However, affiliate status does not influence editorial ratings. Bookmakers can appear in our directory without an affiliate relationship, and they cannot pay for improved scores. Our scoring rubric is applied uniformly to all reviewed sites. If a bookmaker is removed from our directory for regulatory or fairness reasons, any affiliate relationship is also terminated.
Review Update Policy
Reviews display a Last reviewed date. We update a review when any of the following occur:
- The bookmaker changes its welcome bonus, wagering requirements, or key terms
- A licence is added, revoked, or changed
- A significant product update (new app, new payment method) is released
- A pattern of player complaints is detected via monitoring
- Annually — all reviews are audited at least once per year
User Reviews & Moderation
Alongside our editorial rating, visitors can submit their own reviews and star ratings for each bookmaker. Every user submission is held for manual moderation and is only published after a moderator approves it — we remove spam, fake, abusive, or incentivised reviews. Published user ratings are aggregated into the score shown in each bookmaker's reviews section. User reviews reflect the opinions of individual visitors and are kept separate from our independent editorial rating.
